i didn't check this, but most of linuxppc.org is a recursive copy of
penguinppc.org, try http://penguinppc.org/usr/bootx.shtml

try http://penguinppc.org/usr/ybin/doc/mac-fdisk-basics.shtml

(also at http://www.alaska.net/~erbenson/doc/mac-fdisk-basics.txt)

for a partitioning guide. it explains how to use mac-fdisk. note
that its a tad biased to newworlds in the mentions of bootstrap
partitions, i recommend creating a bootstrap partition as documented
since it will allow you to move the disk to a newworld box and make it
bootable if you ever needed to (bootx doesn't work on newworlds). but
as long as the disk is in an oldworld you can just ignore the
bootstrap partition.
