Re: multimedia-policy: DSSI and related packages?

Hi,

I've been casually glancing over linux-audio-user mailing list and
noticed that there's something called DSSI. It's even packaged in
Debian, although I don't know if any apps actually use it.

Rosegarden at the moment.

Things I'd like to see:

1. package dependency information to signify who supports dssi.
  Provides/recommends: dssi-plugin/dssi-host ?

2. related packages packaged, such as whysynth, om.
  Anyone packaged them yet?

3. documenting basic information in multimedia policy.

Willem van Engen has one ITP out currently
#321468 ITP: dssi0.9-plug-in-ll-scope -- An oscilloscope DSSI plugin.

He also has packages prepared for most of the others AFAIK

There has been recent NMU activity on rosegarden4, I had the impression that Guenter Geiger had adopted, but I don't see any mention of that in BTS - can anyone clarify the situation?

I may have some better answers once I've trawled the rest of this pile of BTS reports I've just downloaded. ;)

cheers,
