I'd be happy to sponsor it but:

- remove all unneeded changes to debian/control (probably generated by
the unhelpful sort-and-something tool)
- you need to post the debdiff on the relevant bugs on BTS.

If you can send another package, i'll give it definetely a look (don't
bump debian revision!).
