I haven't tried this, but from the manpage:
"--git-builder=BUILD_CMD
Use BUILD_CMD instead of debuild -i\.git -I.git
"
so specifying: --git-builder='debuild -i.git -I.git
--prepend-path=/usr/lib/ccache' should work.
