This two tools are used (mostly) for processing incoming mails (and to
store mails into local mail boxes).

GNU Anubis is for different purpose. It process outgoing mails and
decide how to send them (or drop them at all). Some of them can be
send trough ssl tunnel to smarthost, other using remailer, other by
proxy. To emails going outside company can be attached disclaimers.
Messages to IT can be encrypted using GPG. Anubis can also invoke
procmail to allow user to use procmail's scripts. You can use anti
virus scanner with Anubis to ensure our users' accounts cannot send
viruses. Or keep tracking how many mail was sent by each user to find
computers infected by spam bots.
