I'd also point out that this means if you've taken code from another
GPL'ed app you'd need ther permision of the author of that code to
grant that exception.  Basically you need the permission of anyone who
wrote the code.  This is obviously easier to get if you've kept a good
history of constributors or wrote it entirely yourself.
