CDs are bloody cheap only if you produce a certain amount of them (e.g.
2000 Debian CD sets which would be 28,000 CDs). If you produce only 500
CD sets, the price per unit is considerably higher and the source CDs
*are* a factor which affects the price.
Why should 99 % of the customers pay for CDs they never use?
