Re: Problems booting Debian 3.1 on Acer 4100
I have installed hotplug on 2 different laptops, under debian, and as
soon as they load on bootup, they crash the computer. On my
current laptop, i get two stop errors. But I can load any module
I want and it doesn't stop. I don't use discover either, in case
it crashes. My current laptop is a compaq presario 2210ca, and
the other laptop was an hp (I don't know the model.) If it does
work on other laptops, then I do retract that earlier statement and
hope everyone accepts my apologies.

Hotplug works without any problems on my Thinkpad X20 and Latitude C640.
Please do not spread mis-information. If there is a failure connected to
hotplug, it would be more probably connected to a module being loaded, by
hotplug and that specific module doing something wrong.
