You can do it with ipchains, too. However you have to install the 
package ipmasqadm and use similar lines like these to activate the 
forwarding:

ipmasqadm portfw -f
ipmasqadm portfw -a -P tcp -L $EXTERNAL_IP 221 -R 192.168.0.12 22
