Make sure you used the debian source (apt-get install pcmcia-source) Then compile it by running "make-kpkg modules_image" from /usr/src/linux. That might help your compilation problems, and will automatically generate the pcmcia-cs deb file. You can compile the kernel similarly with "make-kpkg kernel_image". You can find more detail in the Debian README in /usr/share/doc/pcmcia-cs.
