To be clear: are the kernels you are testing now upstream kernels or
pre-compiled Debian ones?
If I understood correctly before, Tibor experienced this problem with
Debian kernel 3.0.0-6, you experienced it with upstream kernels
3.2.13, 3.2.14, 3.3.1, and Ivan experienced something very similar
with Debian kernels in the 2.6.38-* series.
