hey, Holger and I talked about this on IRC, and the current status is that it doesn't appear to meet our guidelines for a stable release update. Stable candidates need to be of >= important severity. This bug is wishlist, and that seems to be appropriate considering it is a request for a new feature (as opposed to a regression). -- dann frazier
