how about asking info by the submitter why it lands there?!
and yes some DD are paid other are not, still it is volunteers work!

there is a lot missing to your bug report. what gives the output of:
cat /etc/initramfs-tools/modules
cat /etc/initramfs-tools/initramfs.conf
update-initramfs -u -v

i would like to know why it landed there?
out of default initramfs-tools has no business with slamr.
