Any suggestion is welcome. Should I report a bug, > or am I doing something wrong? The weird thing in the log is that it has "StartServer=false" but the socket pointing to a user local directory. StartServer=false means Akonadi will not attempt to launch its mysqld instance, however it is quite unlikely that anyone else will launch one on the given socket path, Cheers, Kevin
