The Kernel _SUGGESTS_ libqt3-mt-dev, but it doesn't need it as long as you 
don't use the qt-interface for configuring it. I prefer the menuconfig 
anyway.

BTW, 2.6.12 is already in sid, but it isn't called kernel-source-2.6.12 but 
linux-source-2.6.12.
