Problems compiling Quanta on Potato

I tryed to compile Quanta on a Potato box but it fails.
I first used dh_make followed by dpkg-buildpackage and I got this error:

I have also noticed when doing a plain build (configure make) that I get a 
whole bunch of sgml errors. Jade is installed but maybe I need different 
version sgml tools?
