Well, most of the time, this notion of full stops is only used in
English.
As far as I know, most languages have their own typographical rules
with different notions for spaces...which are pretty hard to render
ideally, especially in text interfaces.
So, probably the graphical interfaces could theoretically do something
by implementing variable typographical systems, depending on the
language. I'm not fond of such nitpicking as it would of course add an
incredible level of complexity. We're not printing a newspaper..:-)
IIRC, we decided to NOT use full stops in English strings for DI.

Thjis is the name of a timezone in glibc, so hard to change. Moreover,
this would bring non ASCII characters in a msgid which is not exactly
a good idea.

These will trigger translation updates. I'll ask for an advice in

Corrected. The missing "the" is an error anyway, and "discs" is also wrong.

Those are similar but the two templates have different use. Ine th
first, the system waits for character to be enterd on the keyboard
while in the latter, entering characters just speeds the process
up. So, I don't think we cna make both paragraphs identical.
