Only one problem with that, currently Debian is GNU/Linux as there
does not exist any other (released) non-GNU/Linux port.  This means
to modify Debian to work with GNU (and the *BSD port), as the current
practices in Debian cannot be used in GNU/Hurd!

The only people that are cabals are the ones that are in the Debian
heaven, or whatever.  As they are slowing down our development to a
stand still.
