maybe we should create an binary-all (and the complete
binary-hurd-i386 on alpha.gnu.org (or whatever)?
using alpha.gnu.org AND ftp.debian.org at the same time is
problematic with dpkg-ftp and apt...

That looks good, i have to test all functions, but i think
that i can acknowledge that jove and slocate work on the hurd
without many changes.
