kissattach: Cannot find serial device

Moin,

I decided to start again with packet radio.
According to do doku unter http://db0fhn.efi.fh-
nuernberg.de/doku.php?id=doc:db0fhn:openvpn I set up an ip based connection 
through an openvpn tunnel. This work fine so far.

The next step is to create the device ax0, but his fails:

root@mars:~# kissattach /dev/ptyq1 ax0 192.168.254.1
kissattach: Cannot find serial device /dev/ptyq1, no such file or directory.


Do I need an udev-rule? Which one?
