[potato+modutils-2.4.6-2.bunk+kernel-2.4.5] bttv, problème msp3400
Bonjour à tous,
Juste un petit mail pour vous exposer un problème que je n'arrive pas à
résoudre, si quelqu'un a eu la même expérience que moi...
Je n'ai _jamais_ eu de problème pour configurer ma Miro PCTV Pro sous Linux,
tout a toujours correctement fonctioné. Seulement là, depuis mon passage
récent sous noyeau 2.5.5 (recompilé perso depuis la source apt citée il y a
pas longtemps sur la liste: kernel-source-2.4.5-2.bunk) je n'ai plus de son.
Notez que aumix fonctionne bien, que je lis mes CD audios et écoute des mp3
comme avant : le problème apparait quand je lance xawtv, là j'ai la video
mais pas de son.
Le paramètre vidmem passé en option sur le module bttv me sort
systématiquement un "Invalid parameter: param_vidmem", je l'ai donc viré par
rapport à ma configuration kernel-2.2.19. Le reste est identique, hormis les
conf. de debug de i2c essayer de comprendre le problème.
Est-ce ce paramètre qui est en cause ? Faut-il que je recompile une version
plus récente de xawtv ? Ou encore est-ce mon noyeau qui est configuré comme
un polio (genre y a un truc à savoir sur les 2.4.* mais que je connais pas
pour bttv) ?
deux fichiers sont attachés avec ce mail:
- un extrait des logs du kernel lors du chargement des modules au boot
- un fichier text aglomérant ma conf. modutils (modutils-2.4.6-2.bunk
recompilé)
Si quelqu'un peut éclairer ma lanterne, j'ai pas trop envie d'hacker le code
du module bttv pour forcer la reconnaissance et le rattachement correct du
module msp3400 à i2c estimant que ceci peut être du à un problème de
configuration... Mais bon si pas de solution j'y serai forcé.
