Welcome down to the rabbit hole. I believe the AFDKO issue is likely the most important one. As far as I can tell it is blocked by https://lists.debian.org/debian-fonts/2021/07/msg00009.html , after which no progress was made. If you could help, that would be really helpful and unblock the packaging of a vast amount of different fonts. Thanks, Boyuan Yang
