Also, if you are to talk about workarounds, every individual IRC user should be
able to use /ignore on relaybot ?

IMO what you guys have done is nice. You may want to fine tune it to be more
transparent. I think Vasudev did share some links. But whatever be the case,
when doing such work, which has a tendency to affect multiple users, it would be
much appropriate to first share the plan, get a consensus, and then deploy it.
