Yeah, we should be careful with this. However, given our track record
with stable point releases, I believe we can make it. Do you think you
would assistence with this task?

Also, as the amount of packages which are affected by this is quite
narrow, thus I hope that the respective userbase will help test packages
in t-p-u prior to their inclusion in the main archive. I also like
Thomas' idea of using the security system for this. If the data is
limited to binary-all packages, the logistic problems should be
relatively low, otherwise perhaps somebody related to this form of
security would step up and help the security team prepare and upload the
packages.

I hope that a combination of automatic downloads, security uploads and
point releases will make it possible to avoid having to point our users
to 3rd party repositories or just plain tell them that we do not support
internet security.
