Hmm, perhaps I should clarify the way moderating usually work with
smartlist:
Messages to be moderated are simply forwarded to all the moderators
(i.e. they are not kept in a queue that can be "rejected"). If the
message is to be approved, a moderator should add a custom header
containing a password and resubmit it to the list address in a way
that keeps the Message-ID.
Since smartlist prevents duplicate submissions by using the Message-ID,
it does not matter how many moderators do the same.
This way, spam messages would require no action from the moderators
(not even a "reject"). Only legitimate messages require action from
them, but since there are so few of them for high spamassassin scores,
the work of a moderator should be quite easy indeed.
If we did this for, say, every mail which scores 2.0 or more in SA,
we would remove all the spam above 2.0 *completely*.
