I think it could be very useful to have, by default, multiple runlevels. Our current defaults effectively disable runlevels 3-5, leaving it up to the admin to define them before they can be useful. In the past the argument has always been "if the admin wants runlevels, they'll define them". Well, sure if they care to put that much thought in to them. But I think runlevels should be useful to admins who *don't* care to put that much thought into them.
