Hi,  Yes, hdparm just has 5.2-1 (unstable 10 days to testing).

Maintainer seems to prefer simple README.Debian message only approach or
overlooked wishlist bug with patch #87451.  (Christopher, can you clarify?)

I understand creating too complicated configuration with risky script is
not a good idea but placeholder script should be there to help people.
