libc6 upgrade removes java?




I didn't see any hint of this happening, must have missed
something.  libc6 upgrade this am wanted to remove j2?

This is on a dev machine following unstable with frequent upgrades.



The following packages have been kept back
  libc6 libc6-dev locales 
0 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 3  not upgraded.
root@io.maine.com:~# apt-get install libc6
