This example is so hackneyed, it's almost enough to make we want to
write bit of experimental theater -- an audience-participation stage
play where we project large images of enemies of the current
Administration on to a screen and have a bunch of actors portraying a
firing squad, and they only move to the next image after enough of the
audience screams "FIRE!".

You know, great big pictures of Osama bin Laden, Mohammed Atta, Saddam
Hussein, Bill Maher[1], Mark Perkel[2], and, oh hell, just about anybody
with an I.Q. over 110.

Wouldn't that put the free-speech-hating Republicans in a bind -- nah,
it probably wouldn't.  They'd outlaw it and then just arrange for
private performances at the West Wing.
