hello all,
so debian and the LSB are both organizations run by interested members. such
organizations are aware that others exist, and that the policies of each
affect each other. because they have opportunities to affect others, both
positively and negatively, civilized organizations deal specially with their
relationships. in the parlance of politics the word is "diplomacy".
i suggest that the two projects ought both be interested in working
together; in fact, there are already people doing so (ted - your comments
have been insightful. you must be on more mailing lists than any man). all
there is to do is do it better, and with our loosely structured
organizations, that means participate more.
