2.4.0-testx and portmap dislike each other
Having portmap running on the 2.4.0-test10 kernel gives the following
entries when port 111 is watched by portsentry:
...A lot of output of the same type
Nov 12 11:55:47 cl-dual portsentry[281]: attackalert: Possible stealth scan from unknown host to TCP port: 111 (accept failed)
Nov 12 11:56:17 cl-dual last message repeated 169308 times
...A lot of output of the same type
I've seen this on two of my different computers running debian and
redhat. It does not happen with kernels 2.2.x What's going on?
