Incorrect Khmer translation in grub-installer
Hi,
You're listed as Last-Translator for the grub-installer translation in
the Debian installer. It contains the following translated string:
#. Type: string
#. Description
#. :sl2:
#: ../grub-installer.templates:7001
msgid ""
"The device should be specified as a device in /dev. Below are some "
"examples:\n"
" - \"/dev/sda\" will install GRUB to the master boot record of your first\n"
" hard drive;\n"
" - \"/dev/sda2\" will use the second partition of your first hard drive;\n"
" - \"/dev/sdc5\" will use the first extended partition of your third hard\n"
" drive;\n"
" - \"/dev/fd0\" will install GRUB to a floppy."
msgstr ""
" - \"(hd0)\" ឬ \"/dev/hda\" នឹងដំឡើង GRUB ទៅ master boot record\n"
This is clearly incorrect in a way that means Khmer-speaking users will
still suffer from http://bugs.debian.org/576309. Please compare with
the following commit and correct the translation to match the English
text:
http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=d-i/grub-installer.git;a=commitdiff;h=02b57cb2727f5cc78c7d37205212e66da55457ac
Briefly, the translated text should lose all references to the (hd...)
and (fd...) notations, and it should refer to /dev/sd* rather than to
/dev/hd*.
(Some other translation files have the same problem in fuzzy text, but
this is the only case where the translation has been marked non-fuzzy
without actually correcting the translated text.)
Thanks,
