Comments/Problems:
The installer hungs during the "Detect network hardware" step. The
"Detecting hardware" progress bar displays
briefly, then clears to an empty blue screen with a single white line at the
bottom. There is no further screen output.
The installation was looking for Ralink corp. RT2561/RT61 firmware

In the ALT F2 console a ps -ax told

mount -tauto /dev/sda3

/dev/sda3 is an Extended (ID 5) Partition

I can run this command (mount -tauto /dev/sda3) in ALT F2 console before accepting to detect
network card and it hang that console. Then I can work in ALT F3 console.

I can finish the installation process if I don't install the network.
Then, after booting I can install the network, mounting both, the
installation stick and the other stick where I've got the firmware. And after
that I can finish the installation of the packages that are not in the CD1
and update/upgrade with apt-get and aptitude.
