O.K., ACK, maybe the r128-driver is outdated, at least it does not work 'out-of-the-box'
on any machine, but it showed that this seems mainly due to the
acceleration-functionality.
I found a workable X-configuration and thus send my xorg.conf, dmsg.txt and Xorg.0.log in
the attached archive called x-conf-dmsg.tar.bz2. Furthermore the severity of
this bug is downgraded to 'minor'.
