Bug#616125: debian-installer: Setting up encryption fails if hostname (?) from previous installation is used

Package: debian-installer
Version: 20110106+b1
Severity: normal
Tags: d-i

Installing Squeeze 64-bit netinst graphical.

I choose the "Delete everything, use whole disk, set up LMV with encryption" option.

When "Writing changes to disk", it failed with /dev/$foo already exists, where $foo was the hostname of my previous Ubuntu Maverick installation, which I also gave this time.

I tried again, but it would not work unless I used a different hostname than last time.
