Bug#616124: debian-installer: APT fails to connect to repository after network reconfiguration

Package: debian-installer
Version: 20110106+b1
Severity: normal
Tags: d-i

Installing Squeeze 64-bit graphical netinst through eth0.

I changed my physical location just before the "Popularity contest" page without turning off the computer.

I ran the "Network configuration" step again, and it said "Autoconfiguration is successful", and in the log on console 4 I could see that DHCP went OK.

However, when installing packages APT said in console 4 "Temporary failure in resolving <whichever mirror>", even if I tried very different mirrors.

At the same time, "wget http://google.com && cat index.html" could pull down the frontpage of that website without any problem, so I assume that the network was indeed configured and working.

Impact: I had to restart the whole installation process.
