Thanks for the reply. I am trying to change the gtk screens that make up the GUI installer. So, I guess I should be looking for the gtk source files, how should i go about doing this?

I think you mean customizing the gtk theme during the installation.

You need to do these changes in the rootskel-gtk package and add a new changelog
entry and then put your new package in the localudebs directory. Then when doing
the image build your rootskel-gtk package will be used instead of the official
one.
