For the patch to be accepted in upstream I see no problem but it will
only be done after few steps has been done:
- we do unit tests to reproduce the current issue;
- Luk (Ubuntu guy) signs the required papers to pass the changes
copyright to FSF
I'll contact him to see if he is willing to contribute with us to get
this done and also look in the rest of Ubuntu changes to see if we can
get other fixes from it for next release.
