Bug#266123: debian-installer: [powerpc] default ext3 isn't accepted by Quix and setting ext2 reformats, but doesn't reinstall base

Package: debian-installer
Severity: normal

Hi,

when installing powerpc, the default filesys is ext3 (which i think is a
good default), but later on the quix installation fails for it needs at
least a /boot in ext2 format. Thus going back to partitioning and
creating a /boot in ext2. Now the partitions are reformatted, but the
d-i goes back to quix installation (skipping over bootstrapping), and
quix fails again for there is no system in /target anymore.

Either the quix should learn to cope with ext3 or the partitioning
should be telling you, that at least one ext2 is needed.

Anyway, the d-i should again bootstrap the new partitions after voiding
their contents instead of skipping all the way forward again.
