You should be using CVS over ssh - once you do this, it's no different from
logging into va with ssh (cvs.debian.org is actually va.debian.org) Since
you've checked it out via anonymous pserver, you'll have to twiddle the CVS
info to make it work right... This should work:
find -path '*CVS/Root' | xargs perl -i -pe 's/:pserver:anonymous/:ext:meder/'
Then you need to set your CVS_RSH environment variable to 'ssh'. After this
it should just work.
