Window List automagically added to last menu

Hey,
    I have been Trying to design a simple application that
does not use documents in the normal New-Save-Open sort of
way and no matter what I try somhow an extra menu item
appears in the last menu that lists the app name and is
checked. Where is this coming from? how do I make it quit? I
suspect there is some magic initilization member function
that needs to be overridden in the vCmdWindow, but I cannot
find it.

The application was originally generated using the vgen
program, it is compiled on mingw32 under windows 98.

It also changes the Title bar to "App Name - [App Name]".
This is driving me crazy, can anyone shed some light on
this?
