Linux root Problem

Hi Bruce,

after compiling and installation V the V-Applications will only work
under user root. If i try to run it under a normal user i get the error
:

stefan@AMD:/home/stefan > vgen
X Error of failed request:  BadPixmap (invalid Pixmap parameter)

  Resource id in failed request:  0x4000021
  Serial number of failed request:  97
  Current serial number in output stream:  196

whats wrong ?

My system :

AMD K6-300 with 64 MB RAM
SuSE Linux 5.3
gcc 2.7.2.1
V 1.20
