I had a brief look at it and it looks okay, but it was a bit painful to
review. The repository at

Vcs-Git: https://github.com/volkszaehler/vzlogger.git -b debian
Vcs-Browser: https://github.com/volkszaehler/vzlogger/tree/debian

is obviously not the one you use to prepare the package for inclusion in
Debian (as visible in the changelog). Is there another public repository
maybe?

I think the change regarding the adduser fix should be included in the
changelog as well.
