Thank you for taking a look at the package.

 

* Would it be better to rename the package to libquill-dev to match the convention?

Yes this is possible if there are sufficient similar projects using this convention.

quill is a header only library like https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/doctest, https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/nlohmann-json3-dev and similars . So I chose their convention.

 

* cmake 4.0 is upcoming, is this package prepared for it? (I see upstream excludes 4.0 from
 supported versions, but you can patch & test it anyway).

Yes, I will check to see if it is possible to build with the latest cmake 4.1.1 with a patch.
