Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: important

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "backintime":

 * Package name    : backintime
   Version         : 1.3.2-0.1
   Upstream Author : [fill in name and email of upstream]
 * URL             : https://github.com/bit-team/backintime
 * License         : GPL-2+, GFDL-NIV-1.1+
 * Vcs             : https://salsa.debian.org/jmw/pkg-backintime
   Section         : utils

The source builds the following binary packages:

  backintime-common - simple backup/snapshot system (common files)
  backintime-qt - simple backup/snapshot system (graphical interface)
  backintime-qt4 - Qt 4 front-end for backintime (transitional package)

I created the PR initially 3 months ago with only update of d/watch: https://salsa.debian.org/jmw/pkg-backintime/-/merge_requests/2

As no reply, backintime not working (don't start anymore for issue with latest python), yesterday I prepared an update to latest upstream version to return to have it working and did a fast test of build/install/use. I want try to require also a sync exception for Jammy (next ubuntu LTS) that will be released shortly, this is because I uploaded in mentors the next day.

To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL:

  https://mentors.debian.net/package/backintime/

Alternatively, you can download the package with 'dget' using this command:

  dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/b/backintime/backintime_1.3.2-0.1.dsc

Changes since the last upload:

 backintime (1.3.2-0.1) unstable; urgency=medium
 .
   * Non-maintainer upload.
   * New upstream release (Closes: #1008653, #865744).
   * d/watch: support also latest versions without initial v
     (Closes: #1003776).
   * Remove d/patches: applied upstream.

Regards,
