Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "libnl3":

To access further information about this package, please visit the
following URL:

  https://mentors.debian.net/package/libnl3/

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

  dget -x
https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/libn/libnl3/libnl3_3.5.0-0.1.dsc

Changes since the last upload:

 libnl3 (3.5.0-0.1) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * Non-maintainer upload (Closes: #983310):
   * For this NMU, modifications have been limited to:
     - Symbols have been updated
     - Patches have been refreshed

I really did the minimal changes here for this package that seems no
longer maintained. I contacted the maintainer a year ago and again a few
weeks ago but I never got any replies. I notified the MIA a week ago.

The last version in Debian is the v3.4.0 while the latest upstream
one -- v3.5.0 -- has been released in 2019.

This lib is used by a bunch of apps to communicate with the Linux
kernel. The 3.5.0 version adds some new features but it also fixes bugs,
some can be considered as important, e.g. avoiding a crash in some cases.

This packages has a few lintian issues but if I'm not mistaken, no new
ones compared to the previous version. Because it is a NMU and the
situation is unclear with the official maintainer, these old lintian
issues have not been addressed.

Regards,
