So please use 3.0 (quilt) format.You have to use debcargo to build the package. Please see the Rust Team's rules on how to build a Rust package. I do not even get what is so terribly wrong with editing the hosts file with any editor in the first place...FTBFS on i386: dpkg-genbuildinfo dpkg-genbuildinfo: error: binary build with no binary artifacts found; .buildinfo is meaningless dpkg-buildpackage: error: dpkg-genbuildinfo subprocess returned exit status 255
