Changes since the last upload:

   * Add patches/Remove-_start-symbol-check-for-CXX-libraries.patch to fix
     mips(64)el FTBFS in ./configure step due to missing _start() symbol.
   * Removed debian/compat as replaced by debhelper-compat virtual package.
   * Switched to debhelper command sequencer for debian/rules.
   * Add upstream/metadata file.
