Btw, using what do you think about adding upower support, so that these CPU and IO expensive (and long running) tasks are not run on battery power (eg: on a laptop, or a server with a UPS). I'd prefer not to do work for all of 1) getting ac-power state from /sys (for laptops) 2) supporting apcupsd 3) supporting nut.
