Bug#879209: RFS: RazerCommander/1.2.0 [ITA] [ITP]

Package: sponsorship-requests
  Severity: wishlist

 Dear mentors,

  I am looking for a sponsor for Gabriele Musco's package RazerCommander:

 * Package name    : RazerCommander
   Version         : 1.2.0
   Upstream Author : Gabriele Musco emaildigabry@gmail.com
 * URL             : https://github.com/GabMus/razerCommander
 * License         : GPLv3+
   Section         : main
   Dependency      : razer-drivers

I am not the original author of RazerCommander. It was and continues to be developed by Gabriele Musco.

He merely does not have the energy to maintain an official Debian package: https://github.com/GabMus/razerCommander/issues/55#issuecomment-334993331

It has one dependency, razer-drivers, which appears to incorporate a number of other packages.

I would like to get RazerCommander into the Debian main repository so it will be easier for myself and others to install in Debian.

Currently, the only way is to install it from either a binary package downloaded from the RazerCommander page on GitHub or to compile the source code (also hosted there) and
then install, neither of which is as convenient as being able to install from an official Debian repository.

Regards,
	Josh Blagden
